Relora is used as an effective way to help reduce stress, anxiety and balance moods without inducing drowisness or sleepiness. It is believed to regulate the production of the hormones cortisol and DHEA. These hormones, which are produced by the adrenal gland, are considered responsible for feelings of stress and anxiety. Relora is made from the barks of two plants, the Magnolia officinalis and the Phellodendron amurense. These plants are native to China and are essential herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Relora reduces stress by controlling the level of cortisol in the body and by suppressing its over-production. By regulating the secrection of the anxiety-generating hormone, tension and mental pressure are lessened. Relora has also been used to reduce irritability, treat allergies / asthma and as a sleep aid.
Recommended dosage is 250mg 3 times daily.
